Training Materials for the Drums Alive Course will be mailed to you at the start of your second month. Please note: Once you are enrolled in the Drums Alive Basic Instructor Training, you will have 6 months to complete the course. If you have concerns regarding your completion of the course in the time given, please contact us. We will consider extensions on a case-by-case basis.
  • What to expect

    The Drums Alive Basic course will teach you the history and fundamentals of Drums while getting you prepared to teach your own classes.

  • How long will it take?

    We advise students to allow 10-12 hours to complete the online course. You can break it up however you like and start and stop at your own pace. Please note: Once you are enrolled in the Drums Alive Basic Instructor Training, you will have 6 months to complete the course. If you have concerns regarding your completion of the course in the time given, please contact us. We will consider extensions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Will I be Graded?

    Each lesson will have a short quiz after the materials and there is a final exam. There is also an optional practical exam where you will need to video yourself performing basic Drums Alive skills. The practical exam is a great opportunity to receive personal coaching from a highly experienced Drums Alive Master Trainer who will help you be better prepared to teach your first Drums Alive class or session. After successfully completing all the lessons in the course, you will instantly receive a certificate of completion.

We are happy to now provide the online Basic course Payment plan

You can now become certified in the Online Basic course over a period of four months. Equal payments of $71.25 will be incurred at the start of each month. Your course will also gain access to new course content at the start of each month. At the start of the fourth month you will receive the last set of course content will be made available and you will be able to complete the final exam.

Materials for the Drums Alive course will be shipped to you at the start of the second month.
